MARK A. PARROTT
Mark heads up our upper mid-west branch and is based in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Mark’s experience in performance spaces and events is varied and unique. He has worked in the field for over thirty years in parks, stages and industrial shows in both educational and professional environments. For the last twenty years Mark has taught at the university level, serving as the Scenic and Lighting Designer and Technical Director at Universities in Illinois, Missouri and Iowa. His extensive experience with lighting and rigging systems, backstage support facilities and academic program development make Mark a valuable design team member.
Mark enjoys kayaking in northern Iowa, camping, and biking with his wife Julie. He also is having a great time helping out and learning advanced ceramics from his son, Jesse, who is an undergraduate studio artist at University of Northern Iowa.
