Carl is actively involved in each project from the planning to system commissioning. Projects vary in rang from lighting system upgrades to full system designs including lighting and rigging systems in new construction. As an ETCP certified rigger, he leads the evaluation team for theatrical systems inspections and recommendations.
Carl is an active designer and technician. He regularly works at a number of local theatres including the Liberty Center in Sedalia, Missouri. He is a founding member and the current President of Askew Theatre in Warrensburg. Prior to joining Peerbolte Creative full time, he spent five years as the Technical Director and Resident Designer for Raytown High School Performing Arts Center. Carl regularly conducts rigging and lighting workshops for educators on current industry practices and innovations. This experience provides Peerbolte Creative with an understanding of the day to day needs of an active Performing Arts Center.
Carl enjoys camping with his wife and dog, playing chess with his nieces and nephews, and solving his collection of Rubik’s cubes. He will often be found sitting on the deck with a craft beer and a good book.
